Hei, her følger litt informasjon om Hawaii Bobilcamp på Sørlandet:

Hawaii Bobilcamp på Sørlandet ligger i naturskjønne omgivelser med utsikt til Tovdalselva som munner ut i Flaksvann. Vi har plass til over 20 bobiler.

Vi ønsket at flere skulle få oppleve denne perlen på Sørlandet og valgte å legge til rette for bobiler sommeren 2018. Vi la planer om å tilrettelegge for wc, dusj og strøm, det har vi senere valgt å legge bort da plassen er oversvømt store deler av året.

Det er mange lokale som bruker området til tur, trening, bading m.m. Vi har mange tur og sykkelmuligheter på Birkeland. Fra Hawaii bobilcamp går det fin sti ”Elvestien” oppover langs elva. Ca 500 meter oppover finnes det en gapahuk med grillmuligheter, sand volleyball baner, hengebro med fine bademuligheter på begge sider av broa. Strand på den ene siden og slengtau på den andre siden. Ved høy vannstand i elva er det lagt til rette for å hoppe fra broa, ca 5,5 meter høyt. Ca 500 nedover langs Tollenesveien finner vi en innegjerdet hundepark som kan benyttes, det er heller ikke langt til lysløypa herfra. Pust&Pes som er vårt lokale treningssenter ligger ved innkjøringen til Hawaii bobilcamp. Fiskemulighetene er bra i elva, laksekort kjøpes på bensinstasjonen Best på Birkeland (gratis for barn).

Pris for overnatting er 175 kr pr døgn. Setter du opp telt i tilknytning til bobilen er det ingen tillegg. Vanligste betalingsmåte er vipps (528619), det er også mulig å betale kontant. Betalingsinfo henger på infotavle på campen.

Senere på sommeren planlegges det for Birkelandsdager 2023.

Betaling, se eget infoskriv.
Tømming av WC og spillvann ca 300 meter tilbake, venstre side.

Her kan dere også fylle på drikke vann, egen kran (Tollenes miljøstasjon).

Søppel legges i containeren ved innkjøringen til campen.
Tomgangskjøring er forbudt.
Hold minimum 3 meter avstand fra naboen.
Det må vises hensyn overfor andre gjester når det gjelder medbrakte kjæledyr. Hunder skal være i bånd, og lufting skal foregå utenfor oppstillingsområdet. Hundepose må brukes.
Vis hensyn til naboen og omkringliggende beboelse.
Husk å rydde etter deg når du drar.
Bobil selvvask 400 meter fra campen (kjør rundt miljøstasjonen).
Laksekort kan kjøpes fra 15 mai på bensinstasjonen Best, ca 500 meter herfra (mot Lillesand). Fiske begynner 1 juni, dagskort og ukeskort. Barn fisker gratis.
Mange fine turmuligheter på bein og sykkel i Birkenes. Toppturkart fås kjøpt på Best.
Dere finner en fin badeplass hvis dere følger Elvestien oppover elva ca 500 meter på begge sider av hengebroa. Her er også sandvolleyball bane og gapahuk med grill (toaletter). Her ved plassen er det finest å gå ut ved elveutløpet.
Besøk gjerne bygdas hyggelige nisjebutikk Marikken i sentrum, den ligger sammen med Bakeriet og Apoteket. Ellers har vi Nam Oi Grillmat som har deilig take-away mat (Tollenesveien 15, 5 min å gå). I sentrum finnes det flere frisører, dagligvarebutikker, Pizzabakeren og Happy Time mm.

Hi, here is some information about Hawaii Bobilcamp:

Hawaii Bobilcamp is placed in the beautiful nature of Birkenes, with a view over the Tovdals river and Flaksvann. We have room for over 20 motorhomes.

We wish that more people will be experiencing this treasure in the South of Norway and chose to make a camping for motorhomes here in the summer 2018. Our plan was to facilitate with WC, shower and power, but we have later chosen not to, due to our parking being flooded parts of the year.

There’s many locals using the area for hiking, running, swimming etc. We have many hiking- and biking opportunities here in Birkeland. From Hawaii there’s a nice trail “Elvestien” upwards along the river. About 0,5km upwards you’ll also find a grill and place to sit, two sand volleyball tracks, and a bridge with swimming possibilities on both sides: Beach on one side and rope on the other. When there’s a high level of water in the river you can also jump from the bridge, ca. 18 feet high. About 0,5km downwards the Tollnesveien- road there is a dog- park you’re welcome to use, right above the big factory. From there it’s not far to Lysløypa either, which is a great track for running. Pust&Pes is the local gym, by the driveaway to our camp. Fishing possibilities are great in our river: you can buy fishing licence at the gas station (Best) in town. Children fish for free.

Price for sleepover is 175 NOK per night. If you’re tenting in connection with your motorhome there’s no surcharge. Please pay in cash: payment information on the board at the camp. Only NOK.

Later this summer there will be the locals yearly Birkelandsdager 2021. There will be a big secondhand market Saturday the 21^st of August at 10.00 – 04.00 in the park Birkenesparken nearby. This event is definitely worth a visit!

Payment, see payment information.
You can throw your WC and ”water” ca 0,3 km behind, left side. Here you can also refill drinking water (Tollenes Miljøstasjon)
Garbage goes in the conteiner by the camps driveaway
Turn your motorhomes off whenever you`re not driving.
Keep minimum 9 feet distance to your neighbour.
Show respect to other guests. Dogs shall be in leash and be walked outside of the motorhomes parking lot. All dog stool must be picked up.
Show respect to your neighbours and surrounding houses.
Dont forget to clean up after yourselves.
You can wash your motorhomes 0,4 km behind the water filling- station
Fishing license can be bought from 15st of May at the gas station (Best) ca. 0,5 km away (direction Lillesand). Fishing starts from 1st June. Children fish for free.
There’s lot of nice places for hiking in Birkenes. You can buy hiking tops- map at the gas station (Best).
Bathing spots can be found if you follow the Elvestien- path ca. 0,5km, both sides of the bridge. Beach volley opportunities and campfire, with WC at the same place.
You’re welcome to visit the local shop Marikken, downtown, beside the bakery and Pharmacy. In town you also find hairdressers, grocery stores and takeout restaurants (Pizzabakeren and Happy Time). There’s also an Asian take- away restaurant at Tollnesveien 15, only a 5 min walk from the camp.
